John-robert burger

Born November 1981, John-Robert Burger considers himself inextricably entwined with the notion of disseminating his ineffably eclectic epiphanies and amorphous yearnings by etching them on canvas. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 with a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree, concentrating in object and design. He subsequently obtained his Master of Business degree from the same institution in 2006. An unrepentant artist, John grew up in the Inner West, a region of Sydney, Australia, famed for its bohemian art culture. Drawing upon his Australian and German heritage, his artistic endeavours embody an eclectic synthesis of two rich and vibrant cultures.
